Red Dawn Consultancy were looking to take the next step in the evolution of their online presence. The development and deployment of a refreshed site on Wordpress CMS solution with hosting and technical support.


By Improving the user journey of your site to ensure the website reflects a professional business will increase credibility so that users, be they via search engine or referral, will have more confidence in getting involved by picking up the phone or making a donation.


DNA engagement with the College consists of four phases:

We have recommended building the new site on WordPress to give ease of management and to allow the new design to become mobile responsive rather than the current adaptive website.


With clear navigation and site wide search, users will be able to reach their destination easier and quicker than before. The aim is to create a seamless and intuitive experience giving access to resources, content, events and social media all in one place. The user journey will tell a story to potential customers making them understand your offerings provided. To do this, we will create the new features listed below.


Log In / Membership 

Users will be able to register or login in just a few clicks. We will also develop a forget password page.  Once the user is logged in they will have access to the membership zone - which will have sub sections to member related content.


Event Calendar & Payment Gateway Integration

With the use of plugins such as Eventon for the events calendar. Users can easily find the events they are looking for, past or present, with search build right on the calendar. Myisrael can create events that last for an entire month or a year. Users will be able to easily scroll to month and year to see events for exact time, filter events by event type categories, location & organiser. Seamlessly integrate Google maps into events to display location of events. Type address and get directions to event location. Assign organisers for event and display their information for your users to find easily. Various social media share options for sharing the event. Calendar users can download all the events as a real-time ICS file.


News Feed

With the News Feed Plugin you will be able to create custom News Feeds from the most reputable sources and the articles will appear automatically on your website or select and publish them manually. You can set keywords, number of articles, dates, sources, list in order of most recent, show only headlines from the last 24 hours or last 7 days etc and more.


Google Analytics

This Google Analytics for WordPress plugin enables you to track your site using the latest Google Analytics tracking code and allows you to view key Google Analytics stats in your WordPress install. 


Blog

The use of WordPress blog modules and if required, the existing blogs can be migrated over easily. The blog features include: dates, categories, integration, tags, share buttons, yearly, monthly and daily archives.

Search

The search box will enhance the site wide search experience delivering fast and accurate search results as you type. It could be a find-as-you-type experience or an auto-complete drop-down menu, which provides relevant results from the first keystroke. Data will be automatically synchronised in real-time, making sure that any updates to your site are available as soon as they are made.
